Big A: "Mommy, what rhymes with jacket?"
Wabi: "Well, there's ... bracket. And racket. And ... placket."
Big A: "Mommy, what rhymes with bucket?"
....
Big A: "Are you ok? Did your coffee go down the wrong throat?"

THAT is a little scary. Do little kids really know such words?
I guess I am way too naive. Apparently, you and your coffee are too!
Too funny. LOL.
Yeah, you would've needed to scrape my laughing ass off the floor too after something like this.
Way cool kid.
Meg, to answer your question: No, I don't think Big A knows the phrase in question yet. At four, she's just really likes to rhyme sounds and words. And she was looking out the window at her pail and shovel in the backyard .... hence, "Rhymes with bucket."
She caught me by surprise though, causing the coffee snarfing incident!
